System Shock release delay leaked by Steam

It looks like Steam has leaked the release date for the System Shock remake ahead of an official announcement from the developers. It was originally expected to release this year but according to Steam, this is no longer the case.

The Steam page for System Shock has been updated to list the “planned release date” as March 2023. The remake was first announced in 2016 and development has taken longer than expected. Despite this, it was finally due to release this year but there’s been no news about when from the developer.

According to Steam, it looks like the System Shock remake has been delayed again. Twitter user Wario64 posted a screenshot of the update online and developer Nightdive Studios retweeted the image. There has not been an official announcement yet about the potential delay from the developer.
