Silent Hill movie director confirms new games are coming

The director of the 2006 Silent Hill movie, Christophe Gans, has commented that multiple games are in development. This comes after his earlier claims about writing a new movie script for the franchise earlier this year.

Gans was recently interviewed in French, but the full video was translated on Resetera and revealed a few exciting things. In the interview, he states that he “works with the Silent Team, the original creators” and that he’s been working “in collaboration with Konami.” According to Gans, “there are multiple games in development” and “there are several teams on it, with a big line of games.” He says “they will revive the franchise” and has been encouraged after the constant success of the recent Resident Evil remakes.

His report seems to follow the rumors and leaks claiming that there are a lot of new Silent Hill games coming. Konami hasn’t announced any new games yet.
