Microsoft’s Xbox Cloud Gaming is joining Meta Quest

The Xbox Cloud Gaming service has been confirmed to be coming to the Meta Quest in the near future. Meta recently made the announcement during the recent Meta Connect 2022 livestream. The service will be launched on the Meta Quest Store in the future.

According to the announcement from Meta, players will be able to use an Xbox controller by attaching it to their Meta Quest VR headset and play Xbox games inside the VR world. Gamers will be able to access the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate library on a large 2D screen without needing to leave VR. This means players will be able to remain in VR and play Xbox console games at the same time.

There’s been no announcement for exactly when Xbox Cloud Gaming will be added to the Meta Quest Store, but it is coming. It adds that they “hope to share more on this as soon as possible,” which means we can expect to hear more very soon.
