2K Support has been hacked
Following the GTA 6 leak, Rockstar’s parent company Take-Two has now announced that its support arm has also been hacked. The company has announced the hack on its official 2K Support Twitter account and confirmed the hacker sent malicious links to some players seeking support.

The announcement reads that the company has become aware that “an unauthorized third party illegally accessed the credentials of one of our vendors to the help desk platform that 2K uses to provide support” to consumers. 2K states that the hacker sent malicious links to certain players and advises that users “do not open any emails or click on any links” sent from the 2K Games support account.
Due to this hack, 2K games recommends doing the following:
— Run scans from a reputable anti-virus program
— All user account passwords stored in web browsers should be reset
— Check account settings to see if any forwarding rules have been added or changed on personal email accounts
— Enable multi-factor authentication (MFA) when possible
The 2K Games support portal will be offline while the company deals with the problem. It will issue another announcement once there is news to share.
